Kameleo 2.11: update to .NET 7
At Kameleo, we’re eager to learn about new technologies and the benefits our customers can gain from them. That’s why we’re excited to announce that starting with the next version (2.11), our services will be based on the .NET 7 framework. This change is also a big step towards making Kameleo available to Mac and Linux users. Stay tuned for updates!
Please note that Microsoft ended .NET support for Windows 7 and 8.1 in January 2023. Simultaneously, Google is going to stop supporting Chrome on Windows 7 and 8.1 in early February (starting from version 110).
This means that newer versions of Kameleo (2.11) will not support these older versions of Windows.
We encourage you to switch to Windows 10 or 11 for the best Kameleo experience. However if you’d like to keep using Kameleo with an earlier version of Windows, you are free to do so with the current version (2.10). You may access and download it from our Kameleo older releases archive.
Feel free to visit our support page for more information!
